Our Mission
The goal of the Soldotna Silver Salmon Swimming program is to provide an opportunity to all children to participate in a competitive sport which will ultimately teach them a "Lifetime" skill to be practiced all their life. Our swimmers will learn how to set goals and work hard to achieve them. We believe that our success is measured by the progress and development of our swimmers.
The physical aspect of coaching is a small part of the development of our swimmers. By teaching them the value of hard work, persistence, respect for others and self, we hope to teach them that "Winning" is not just being "Number One".
